The power of dual-use
The defence and civilian sectors are increasingly intertwined, and both stand to gain from deeper collaboration. As seen in Ukraine, technologies developed for civilian use are reshaping modern defence, just as defence driven innovation often find powerful applications in medicine, infrastructure, and industry.
Thus, the goal of the seminar is to find synergies and explore possibilities to create cooperation between the defence and civilian sectors.

On 27 November, the Multiple-Use Innovation Forum will bring together senior leaders from defence, healthcare, research, and technology at the Swedish Defence University, for a one-day conference exploring and developing the potential of Multiple-use technologies.

Bringing dual-use from concept to reality
The Forum for Unified Resilience will serve as a continuation of an ongoing transatlantic dialogue promoting dual-use technologies within the healthcare and defence sectors. By bringing together executives and decision-makers from both the U.S. and Sweden, the event aims to promote partnerships and collaboration between both governments and businesses.
Thus, the Forum will serve as a high-level meeting point for executive senior leaders across healthcare, defence, research, and government to engage in a strategic, cross-sector dialogue on transatlantic innovation.
